Microsoft Outlook 2013 & Outlook 2016

Requires a Microsoft Exchange mailbox (work or school email) on Exchange Online, Exchange 2013, or newer. Earlier versions of Exchange can use the Outlook 2010 version of the toolbar.

Step 1: Enable the GlobalMeet Outlook Add-In

If you have a previous version of the GlobalMeet toolbar, remove it before continuing.

Copy the GlobalMeet add-in URL to the Clipboard, and then open Outlook and follow these instructions.

  • Select File > Manage Add-Ins
  • On Manage add-ins, click [+] and select Add from a URL. Paste the add-in URL that you copied above.
  • Click Next > Install > OK
  • On the Home tab, click GlobalMeet Tools > Settings and sign in to your GlobalMeet account.

Step 2: Install the GlobalMeet desktop tools

Host or join meetings from the desktop. Includes the Screen Share app for sharing in a meeting.

GlobalMeet Outlook Add-In

For Microsoft Outlook 2016. Requires a Microsoft Exchange mailbox (work or school email) or Exchange Online, Exchange 2013, or newer.

Copy the GlobalMeet add-in URL to the Clipboard, and then open Outlook and follow these instructions.

  • On the Outlook ribbon, click the Store button.
  • At the top of the Add-ins for Outlook window, click Click here to add a custom add-in > Add from URL.
  • Follow instructions to complete the installation.
  • On the Home tab, click GlobalMeet Tools > Settings to sign in to your GlobalMeet account.
